Hangover shake

Hangovers are the worst. Some people become like little kids in these situations - and it seems to be more and more common as we get older! They'd rather spend the day on the couch, with a nostalgic movie like "Grease" playing in the background. It's a very sad day until one of their friends brings greasy fries...

But that's exactly the point: Usually the body doesn't even want chips. It wants mooooo

 

This smoothie won't do the magic of waiting for you to have one too many cocktails the night before, but it will help revive you. The three ingredients each play a role: banana for potassium (especially essential if your head was in the toilet), coconut water for electrolytes and potassium, and a pinch of ground ginger for nausea (if you're really feeling nauseous, drink this). So what are you waiting for? Get off the couch and make this smoothie!

 

Components:

  • 1 whole banana or frozen pieces

  • 330 ml coconut water

  • A pinch of ground ginger

 

Blend together until creamy, pour and enjoy!
