Super creamy avocado and blueberry smoothie, full of protein, healthy fats, vitamins and antioxidants. Vegan, gluten-free

I think I have a new favorite smoothie ingredient.
I definitely have a new favorite smoothie ingredient. Or at least one I can add to my list of favorite smoothie ingredients, because I'm pretty sure I could never willingly give up frozen bananas and raw oats. They complete me.
It's the avocado. In case I've completely failed in my attempt to take a creative photo of one and you have no idea what you're looking at.
Because it might blow your mind like it blew mine...
It's smooth. It's creamy. It's moussy.
Not to be confused with mice, but seriously... adding avocado to a smoothie gives it a light creaminess. That's really the only way I can describe it. It's almost like a mousse. Only... without chocolate, in this case.

Why avocados? Not only do they have a super light flavor, but they come with a nice dose of healthy fats and vitamin E, which does wonders for your hair and skin. Couple that with the antioxidants in the blueberries and a little extra protein from the Greek yogurt and you've got yourself one healthy smoothie powerhouse.
