Banana almond smoothie

It's like dessert for breakfast and I just can't stop! Once you try this smoothie you'll have to keep it

An extra supply of frozen bananas at all times, this is definitely a smoothie you'll want to make regularly. It has a wonderfully nutty flavor and is perfect for sweet bananas!

I love it when I can find something healthy like this that the whole family loves, including kids.

I also love that it's made with ingredients that are always available. One of the most convenient and delicious smoothies - what's not to love here?

Components:

  • One frozen banana in pieces

  • 2/3 cup unsweetened almond milk

  • 1/3 cup plain, fat-free Greek yogurt

  • 1.5 tablespoons almond butter

  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed

  • 1 teaspoon honey

  • 3-4 drops almond extract (optional)

  • 4 ice cubes (optional)

Blend together until creamy, pour and enjoy!
