Blueberry muffin smoothie
Sharing
Skip the muffin and drink a healthy, gluten-free blueberry muffin smoothie!

I credit the blueberries for giving this smoothie such a great blueberry flavor, of course, but the addition of lemon zest, vanilla yogurt, and raw, uncooked oats—really takes it from a blueberry smoothie to a blueberry muffin smoothie.
If you've never added raw, uncooked oats to your smoothies, fear not. Not only does it add a boost of health to every sip, but it's reminiscent of the flavor that comes with blueberry muffins. I just love blueberry muffins. This smoothie recipe, however, is the ticket to a completely satisfying breakfast, snack, or dinner!

1/2 frozen banana (or a whole banana if you like the smoothie sweeter)

1/4 teaspoon lemon zest
