- Produced using advanced technology that aims to increase the absorption of the vitamin in the body. Liposomal technology uses phospholipids - components that make up the shell of all body cells.
- The phospholipids envelop the vitamin molecule, in this process microscopic fatty spheres called 'liposomes' are formed, which contain the vitamin.
- The liposome protects the vitamin from stomach acidity and helps it be absorbed in the intestine - from where it passes into the bloodstream.
- A clinical study conducted on liposomal vitamin C indicates absorption that is up to 5 times higher than different types of vitamin C.
- The liposome protects the digestive system from irritation and helps prevent the side effects typical of taking high doses of vitamin C.
- Liposomal vitamin C is not acidic and is suitable for people who suffer from hyperacidity in the stomach.
