Vitamin D belongs to the group of fat-soluble ADEK vitamins. In recent years, there has been growing awareness that vitamin D deficiency exists in all population groups - the elderly, adults and children, even though we live in a sunny country.
Reasons for vitamin D deficiency are very diverse, such as: a diet poor in vitamin D, use of sunscreens and prevention of sun exposure due to skin damage, sitting in offices, tanned skin, wearing long clothes, use of various medications, and of course problems with the absorption and conversion of vitamin D in the body, among other things due to various chronic diseases, but not only.
Taking a daily vitamin D supplement is currently recommended by doctors, pharmacists, and nutritionists.
Vitamin D comes in its active form D3 and in doses of 1,000/400 IU in soft gel capsules that are soft and easy to swallow.
The Sofereb Vitamin D series comes with the addition of MCT - a natural fatty acid that improves the bioavailability of vitamin D.
Therefore, the Ministry of Health recommends taking the following levels of vitamin D daily during this period:
- Daily intake of 800-1000 IU of vitamin D for people of normal weight.
- Taking 2000 IU of vitamin D daily for overweight people.
- Taking 4000 IU of vitamin D daily for obese people is excessive.
- Daily intake of 400 IU of vitamin D for babies up to one year old.

Shipments on the site are divided into:
1. Refrigerated shipments:
The courier updates the hours the evening before the delivery (calls if there is no WhatsApp). The deliveries arrive at the address specified in the order. In places where there is a parking problem - the customer will be asked to go out and collect the delivery from the courier's vehicle.
If you have any hours or requirements, please write them in the comments in the cart or send them to us on WhatsApp.
You must be present to receive the delivery or provide written authorization to leave it at your doorstep. A courier will contact you prior to arrival. Please note, delivery hours are normal business hours between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

2. Regular deliveries, without refrigeration, to the entire country:
Delivery to a collection point (Pickup) - You can choose between two points closest to your place of residence. You will receive an SMS notification as soon as the package is ready for collection. The service is provided by UPS. Please track the shipment after it is sent and ensure it is collected within 5 days of arrival at the distribution point. This shipment is limited to 4 kg. 
There is no warranty for fragile products and melting products (such as chocolate and glass packaging). We will pack as best we can but the shipping company does not take responsibility for this and therefore neither do we.
A shipment returned to us due to a package not being claimed will be charged additional shipping fees. of ₪27 for returning it, even if shipping was free. Additional shipping to the customer will cost ₪27 Additional. We are committed, therefore we oblige.
