Moringa has a long-standing reputation as a food and medicinal plant, earning it the nickname “the plant that fights malnutrition” in developing countries, and has been cited by three international organizations as a highly nutritious natural ingredient. In recent years, scientific research has shown great interest in Moringa, and it has been found to have the potential for many diverse biological effects.

Moringa originates from tropical regions of Asia and Africa, where the nutritious leaves are consumed as part of the diet, and the concentrated powder from the leaves is given as a nutritional supplement to malnourished children and breastfeeding women. Moringa is a plant source of protein (about 27 grams per 100 grams), fatty acids, dietary fiber, vitamins A, B, C, D, E, K, and minerals such as calcium (about 2000 mg per 100 grams), iron (about 28 mg per 100 grams), and magnesium (about 370 mg per 100 grams), and more than 40 different antioxidants have been discovered in it. In recent years, moringa has been studied in the context of its potential metabolic effects, its effect on milk production in nursing mothers, and research continues to develop into other fascinating and diverse areas.

Who are we?

Bara Herbs was founded in 1997 by Sharon and Ryan Kotzer, Sharon is an expert in herbs and herbal medicine. After returning from studying at the leading herbal medicine school in England, a four-year course, Sharon and Ryan established a herbal therapy clinic in Kibbutz Ein HaShofet called “Bara Herbs.”
The essence of the name “Bara” is the root of the words “Bria” and “Bria.” This essence embodies both the message and the vision of Bara Herbs, according to which the use of medicinal plants, which are part of creation, supports and improves human health.
Since then, “Bara Tshering” has been developing high-quality products that excel in therapeutic creativity and are based on extensive clinical knowledge. The combination of clinical knowledge, high-quality raw materials, and advanced manufacturing technologies allows us to develop and produce a long line of products that all have one clear common denominator: they work!
