Natural soy wax candle inspired by the orchards of the Sharon region. Legend has it that once, when the Sharon was filled with citrus groves, the scent of citrus hung in the pathways of towns and villages, and tractors loaded with rounds of orange, yellow, and pink citrus would pass along the roads.
The candle carries the intoxicating orchard scent of yesteryear—not the smell of a 'tangerine on a bus,' but a blend of bitter, fresh citrus notes with a deeper, woodier undertone of tree trunks and leaves. It is made from pure soy wax, features an eco-friendly cotton wick, and contains a blend of bergamot, grapefruit, lemon, orange, and cedar essential oils.

The candle comes in a dark glass jar with a lid. The candle weighs approximately 100 grams and provides around 20-25 hours of burn time.

Candles are a wonderful way to take a moment for yourself, breathe deeply, change the atmosphere, and slow down the pace. Grab a good book, prepare a hot cup of tea, light a candle, and watch as even the most wintry and rainy day fills with magic 🙂

A few tips for maintaining your candle and ensuring a steady burn:

  • Ensure an adult is present while the candle is burning, and that it is kept away from flammable objects and out of the reach of children and pets.
  • It is advisable to trim the wick to a length of about half a centimeter. A shorter wick may struggle to burn, while a wick that is too long will create a flame that is too large, causing the candle to burn down faster and the essential oils to evaporate.
  • For the first lighting, it is recommended to let the candle burn for at least two hours.
  • Unlike synthetic paraffin wax, soy wax is sensitive to rapid temperature changes and may crystallize into small beads after being extinguished. This is merely a cosmetic issue—it has no effect on the burn or scent, and they will disappear with further heating. Covering the candle jar with the lid after extinguishing can help prevent this.

Who are we?

So I'm Danielle, and Tree of Life is my soap project that began nine years ago as a sort of personal learning project after the army. I wanted to learn how things we take for granted are created – it started with sourdough breads and cheeses and moved on to ancient crafts and then to the field of natural pharmacy, which has gradually taken on a significant part of my life, mainly because it is such a broad and yet unfamiliar subject.
The colors I use to color my products are actually spices, dried plants, colored clays, and natural pigments, and the fragrances are essential oils, extracted from plants like eucalyptus, mint, geranium, and the list goes on (and is fragrant).
I replaced petroleum-based detergents and waxes with vegetable oils and luxurious, cold-pressed butters, and essential oils that I make from plants that I picked, dried, and ground myself.
I believe that everything we need to nurture ourselves is already here in nature, and my job is only to know how to combine the essential oils, butters, and medicinal herbs into one product.
