Wild soap with a hint of sage and thyme. I got the inspiration for this soap from the Galilee - anyone who travels around knows that very often the dominant scent is that of these two wonderful plants. But did you know that in addition to the special smell, these two plants also have wonderful medicinal properties? Both have been used for thousands of years for disinfection (a famous example of this can be found in the Torah, where the priests would use thyme for disinfection), and they are also antibacterial. This soap contains sage, thyme, and green clay. The combination of the three ingredients creates a fragrant soap - with a herbal, almost medicinal scent, for people with a heart of wild nature. Healthy and pampering, and also turns a quick shower into an experience of Israeli nature. The soap creates relatively large bubbles thanks to the mixture of oils in it, and cleans excellently. I find that it can also remove strong odors, such as the smell of fish or cleaning products.

Ingredients: Olive oil, coconut oil, castor oil, shea butter, almond oil, cocoa butter, Dead Sea mud, pine essential oil, tea tree essential oil, soda hydroxide.

Approximately 100 grams (the soap is handmade so the weight may vary).

Use and storage: As long as the soap is not being used, it is recommended to keep it in a ventilated and dry place. When in use, to extend its shelf life, it is a good idea to place it in a soap dish with good drainage. Since the soap is completely natural, it does not contain any harsh ingredients and may soften slightly faster than synthetic soap.

Please note: Hyssop and sage may dry up milk in large quantities. I do not recommend that pregnant or breastfeeding women use this soap even though it contains tiny amounts of both herbs.

Who are we?

So I'm Danielle, and Tree of Life is my soap project that began nine years ago as a sort of personal learning project after the army. I wanted to learn how things we take for granted are created – it started with sourdough breads and cheeses and moved on to ancient crafts and then to the field of natural pharmacy, which has gradually taken on a significant part of my life, mainly because it is such a broad and yet unfamiliar subject.
The colors I use to color my products are actually spices, dried plants, colored clays, and natural pigments, and the fragrances are essential oils, extracted from plants like eucalyptus, mint, geranium, and the list goes on (and is fragrant).
I replaced petroleum-based detergents and waxes with vegetable oils and luxurious, cold-pressed butters, and essential oils that I make from plants that I picked, dried, and ground myself.
I believe that everything we need to nurture ourselves is already here in nature, and my job is only to know how to combine the essential oils, butters, and medicinal herbs into one product.
